Borderline you can’t touch this hot.
A Google search turns up no recall on the part.
I’m going to locate one of those rare thingys they call “thermometers” and measure its temperature. Stay tuned.

Not to be confused with “Thermo-meters” Which are about three feet long and keep your coffee warm.

Is it only MacBooks (as in the 12″ ones), all of the MacBook product line, including the MacBook Pro? I’ve got a 15″ MacBook Pro, and my Power Adapter is warm, not nowhere near “MC Hammer” hot.

Hmmm…my MacBook power adapter stays in the travel case.
I bought a couple of MacBook Pro adapters for home and office (used, about $20 cheaper than buying a MacBook adapter)
The ‘Pro adapters are slightly larger, but since they can be use for either the ‘Book or the ‘Pro, it was an easy choice.

My “brick” aka power adapter gets white dwarf hot but only when the battery is under going a full charge. You can kill small mammals with this thing when its at its peak of “nuclear heat”.
I have a 17″ macbook pro (intel based). I have about 8 other 15″ ones and they all get white, dwarf sun hot as well.
if someone annoys you just toss your nuclear powerbrick at them…. they will learn
