That sounds dirty.

I'm trying top n bottom, and liking it more than side to side.

Do you mean the arrangement in the display pref pane, or do you physically have your monitors stacked on top of each other (or both)?

I do side to side.

^^^ Physically and prefs.

I think it would be very disorienting to have the arrangement in prefs set to anything much different than a mirror of reality, don't you?

Yeah, I was just wondering how you have your monitors set up so that they're stacked on top of each other.

Since I do side to side, I generally put application tool palettes on the left monitor while I work on the right monitor. I can expand a photo in Photoshop to use almost all the right monitor, for example.
