If everyone here got on that ride, how many of us would crap our pants?
I'll look at it. Smoked a joint. Can't right now

We do a significantly taller version of that ride in Six Flags and while there definitely is that "why the heck did I get on here" feeling,
it's nowhere near as uncomfortable as their super tall SkyScreamer ride https://www.sixflags.com/newengland/att ... kyscreamer which has that "all you need is to see it from a distance and you know this isn't for me" feel.

My problem with a lot of rides, even though I may like them when I'm riding them, is that they make me projectile hurl.

Finally got my bubble lamp hung. Espresso cups in the mail for when Java comes over. One of my cats at my dad's.

This is one of the best things you can do to be a better photographer. Photograph the same thing for years. Looks great, Bill.

We had a lamp like that over the kitchen table when I was a kid,
It was some kind of stretched rubberized material and had a device
that allowed raising and lowering its height by pushing or pulling .

Nice Lamp! George Nelson? Hang it as high as possible. My wife's cats destroy all my lamps.

These were shot with a Leica M9, and a 1950 f1.4 5cm Nikkor, the 67th out of a serial number block of about 200 fast Nikkors first made by Nippon Kogaku. The lens was made out of all Japanese optical glass, after Nikon ran out of their wartime supplies of Schott German glass.

It is a recomputed Sonnar formula. The lenses were computed by hundreds of girls with abacuses. It took months to do what can now be done by computer in minutes.

It is one of my sharpest lenses.

This is a true story.

I was walking in a park in NYC, and these two people met. They didn't know each other. Each was out walking their pet pig.

(apparently they were on their way to drown the pigs in the bathtub)
