A neighbor about a block away from my old house has had one in his driveway since about the 1970s.

.30 was most common. And not $5 per shot.

400 acre soy bean field experiment. Cross seeded with a cover crop of eight species. The purple blue flowers are flax the stuff that looks like wheat is Spelt. The sun flowers are volunteer that works out for the oil processing. It will all be combined' together, and shipped to a soy bean oil processor. Beans looked good but average this year is 42- 45 bushels per acre because of the little rain we had this summer.

What's eatin' the leaves? Reminds me of the yard plants I have that get eaten by Japanese Beetles.

I always thought they were a cover band until I started gardening.

You'll want a Toyota Hi-Lux for that.

https://medium.com/war-is-boring/the-to ... 4a121e948b

"At the Battle of Fada, 4,000 to 5,000 Chadian troops in Toyota pickup trucks defeated a Libyan armored brigade, killing 784 Libyans and their allies.

Nearly 100 Libyan tanks and more than 30 armored personnel carriers were destroyed in the fighting.

Chadian losses were a mere 18 troops and three Toyotas."

With one of these mounted in the back:

Flood benefit, we had an opportunity to redo it from scratch..... and two years to plan it....

A pleasant surprise

Post by Keef »

I was going to shoot this with my Nikon w/500mm mirror lens, but my Nikon is momentarily out of commission. So my apologies for the horrible, Photoshop-enlarged iPhone photos.

Upon moving into my new apartment, I was pleased to see that I had a nice view of the Griffith Observatory from my rear window.

Image

Well, I was in the back of the apartment earlier today when I gazed a bit more to my right, and... “waitaminute... is that..? I couldn't be here for an entire month without noticing that before!”

Image

But it is. And I did.

It's the freakin' Ennis House!

Image

Matt may be the only one here to care about Frank Lloyd Wright, but being able to see one of his creations out my back door really makes me stoked! I can't BELIEVE I never noticed it before!

The wide angle lens on the iPhone makes the Ennis House look much farther away than it really is. Once I get the stuff I need for my Nikon, I'll take better shots.
